Coaching

Steven Quaynor has recently been appointed as the new Club Coach.

He has been coaching full time since 2002, but has coached on and off since 1984. He was the number one ranked junior in the Caribbean in 1984. He played on the NCAA national champion Southern Illinois University tennis team in the 80's and also played in the ATP professional tournaments at that time, playing in an ATP event as recently as 2001. He was also fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to play with many players who went on to be in the worlds top 50.

Since 2000 he has been chairman of the organizing committee for ITF junior tournaments in the Caribbean; has been team manager to the Jamaican national team at the 2000 and 2001 World Youth Cup; has been Head Tennis Professional at Regents Park Tennis Centre and, so far, has coached ten children to ITF junior world rankings. He is a member of the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry), the largest global tennis organization of tennis teachers and coaches.
